Agree with the reviews that 1) Not every author is a great reader. Some are unlistenable, as much as I want to hear the story and 2) we need many more Black and brown authors and stores. MANY more.

I’ve really enjoyed these readings but I find myself waiting for more Black and Brown voices and stories. There is a very large and rich canon to choose from, shouldn’t be hard to find.

Great stories. What a treat. Waiting for more black, brown, indigenous and Palestinian writers pleas.

Just thee stars, not because of the story (The Piano Tuner’s Wives), which was quite wonderful, but for the narrator, Yiyun Li, whose delivery was vey distracting. I turned elsewhere to hear the most of it after the first couple of minutes.
