High quality research based

I’m continually impressed by the quality and usefulness of this podcast. And good use of humor! The interviewees are top notch with recent, reputable research, all presented in a useful, user-friendly way. There’s no hidden agenda here- they’re just trying to get the best information out there for us to use. Thank you!
Honest Health Talk

Everybody worth listening to in the field of nutrition ends up here. This show is wonderful.
Eddie Ramirez interview is the worst
May 26
The Eddie Ramirez episode is one long infomercial with lots of self-references thrown in. He comes over as a salesman working for himself. Compared to your other guests like Dr Barnard and Dr Gregor (whose freely given advice he even refers to without mentioning them) he is a poor guest. Please don’t have him on again
Science-Driven, Plant-Based and Fun-Loving!
May 9
I have been listening to the weekly episodes forever, and just have to say that it has given me something to look forward to on my drive home or time at the gym. As a plant based eater for 25 years, I still want the advice to be science-backed/evidence-based, and not just anecdotal. I commend your podcast for striving to raise all of out health IQs. That being said, I always remember the stories and appreciate that even if I am listening to an expert share the latest research, I am also tapping into my community, and hearing our stories. Which like many, when you’re in the middle of no where (and your neighbors hunt and fish or farm animals), it can feel lonely without these connectors. I so appreciate Chuck and his approach to the interviews, and always bringing out the best out of people, it is a real art! I also want to say that I appreciate your vulnerability in sharing your health challenges recently. As someone who has battled chronic health autoimmunity, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue and nerve related GI disorder, I completely understand how hard it can be to put on a happy face and keep on perservering,as the energy bank doesn’t always tell you when it withdraws. Learning to love my body anyways has been a journey. I am sending you all the positive healing Qi, and kudos to you for addressing how stress manifests for you. Stress and complex trauma has been a huge healing pillar for me, and just like diet, you can’t skip steps. Just know that you are enough, and just by sharing your story you are helping many others feel seen and heard. Being real in this feild is necessary, and you are doing a phenomenal job. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
