Very well researched and informative

The podcast takes a thoughtful, well researched, and thorough deep dive into Factitious Disorder and Medical Child Abuse. While the podcaster readily admits her bias, I appreciate that she makes an effort to interview those with opposing points of view. It has me rethinking blind acceptance of documentaries as presenting the whole or complete picture, and that before weighing in with an opinion, it is important to look at these issues from multiple perspectives.
Interesting and well researched!

So interesting! I got a lot of out this podcast as a nurse and as a parent.
Disappointing

Unfortunately, in the episodes about Rady Children’s, Dr Bex and Andrea have shown a lack of knowledge about the diagnosis, treatment, symptoms and care for kids with EDS and POTS. It’s really disappointing. I’ve unfollowed after listening to them double and then triple down in their (flatly wrong) statements and ideas about how severe these diseases can be. I don’t know if abuse occurred in this particular case, but it’s so disheartening to see another stigmatized group be thrown under the bus in their discussions. It’s hard enough to find competent care for EDS and the misinformation provided in these episodes will make it that much harder for those patients to be believed and taken seriously.
