After fleeing the wilderness of political and true crime podcasts, this one came as a gentle rejoinder. I loved the relaxed pacing, the host’s self-effacing manner, and the reminiscences of India it brought back. More, please!

This is the perfect combination of mystery and heartbreak. I listened even though I’d read this feature in the NYT some years ago so I was fairly certain how it would end. Hearing the Prince’s voice infused the story with even more humanity and empathic pull.
