MURDERISH

It’s a well produced podcast, however the host speaks in an absolute monotone which lacks emotion and any sort of feeling while relaying a story. Also the ads are incessant and lengthy which I partly think is a ploy to get the listener to subscribe to Wondery. Also because of Jamie’s monotone, it’s hard to discern when an ad begins and when it ends, which is a turn off for this listener. I usually start and listen halfway through because her voice is so flat and can come off an uncaring sometimes. The right words are there, but her flat delivery really takes away from the essence of these families. I’d hate to be a relative of a victim listening to her relay real life occurrences in this tone.
