It has been published in more than 50 languages, sold more than 20 million copies and is a perennial on the New York Times best-seller list. Dr. Chapman has been directly involved in real-life family counseling for more than 40 years. Dr. Chapman recently retired after 50 years of serving as senior associate pastor at Calvary Baptist Church in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
